Privacy Policy

Thank you for your interest in Raccsy. In the following, we will inform you in detail about the processing of personal data when using this Website. Personal data means all data that can be personally related to you. For inquiries, please contact us at Support@Raccsy.com or call our hotline at (866) 410-9558.

This privacy policy sets out how Raccsy uses and protects any information that you give Raccsy when you use this website. Raccsy is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

1. Collection of personal data when you visit Raccsy.com

1.1 Log Files

When you visit Raccsy for informational purposes but don’t register with us, create an account, order something, or otherwise deliberately transfer information to us, we collect information from your browser to help us serve our websites to you.

What we collect:

  • IP address.
  • Date and time of the request.
  • Time zone difference from Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), typically GMT-6 or GMT-5 depending on Daylight Saving Time observed in Texas, USA.
  • Name of the requested file.
  • Access status/HTTP status code.
  • Volume of data transferred.
  • The page from which you came to visit us.
  • Your operating system and its interface.
  • Your browser type and the language and version of the browser software.

The data is technically necessary for us to display our website to you. It is also evaluated to make the website user-friendly and to ensure stability and security.

1.2 Cookies

We also use “cookies” on our sites. Cookies (also called web cookies, Internet cookies, browser cookies, or simply cookies) are small blocks of data created by a web server while a user is browsing a website and placed on the user's computer or other device by the user’s web browser. Cookies are placed on the device used to access a website, and more than one cookie may be placed on a user’s device during a session.

Cookies serve useful and sometimes essential functions on the web. They enable web servers to store stateful information (such as items added in the shopping cart in an online store) on the user’s device or to track the user's browsing activity (including clicking particular buttons, logging in, or recording which pages were visited in the past). This helps us to make our website more user-friendly and effective overall. The legal bases for this are your consent and our legitimate interests.

We use session cookies, persistent cookies, and third-party cookies.

  • Session cookie (also known as an in-memory cookie, transient cookie or non-persistent cookie) exists only in temporary memory while the user navigates a website. Session cookies expire or are deleted when the user closes the web browser. Session cookies are identified by the browser by the absence of an expiration date assigned to them. For example, this lets you store certain information you have entered (such as log-in information, language settings) in such a way that you do not have to repeat it constantly.
  • A persistent cookie expires at a specific date or after a specific length of time. For the persistent cookie's lifespan set by its creator, its information will be transmitted to the server every time the user visits the website that it belongs to, or every time the user views a resource belonging to that website from another website (such as an advertisement).
  • When you visit our website, our partner companies also store third-party cookies on your device. The cookies contain information about how our website is used, e.g. which pages and products were visited. The data is collected in a pseudonymized form by assigning an identification number, which is not combined with any other personal data you may have provided to us.

You can delete cookies in your browser settings at any time or prevent them from being stored, although the latter may result in a restriction of the functionality of our website for you. In the relevant sections of this Privacy Policy, we explain which technologies that are comparable to cookies are used on our website and how you can object to the use of cookies and other technologies with the individual third-party providers.

2. Ordering from Raccsy/ User Account

The mandatory data required to process the contract is marked as such; all other data you provide is voluntary. You can either enter your data only once for the order or use your email address to set up a password-protected user account with us, in which your data can be stored for later purchases until you revoke your consent. You can deactivate or delete the data and the user account at any time via the account.

To prevent unauthorized access to your personal data by third parties, the order process is encrypted using TLS technology.

2.2 During the ordering process we use Google Maps Autocomplete, a service of Google LLC (“Google”). This allows an address you start typing to be completed automatically, avoiding delivery errors. Google sometimes conducts a geo-localization using your IP address and receives the information that you have retrieved from the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data referred to in Section 1 is transmitted. This is regardless of whether you have a Google account and are logged in. Once you are logged in to your Google Account, the information will be directly associated with your account. If you do not want this assignment to occur, you must log out before entering your address. Google stores your data as user profiles and uses it (even in the case of users who are not logged in) for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the needs-oriented design of its own website. You can object to Google creating such user profiles. For more information about the purpose and scope of data processing by Google and about protecting your privacy, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy. After placing an order, you can give Google permission to use your email address to request a review. You can revoke your consent to the use of your data at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link contained in the emails from Google. For more detailed information about the purpose and scope of data processing by Google and about protecting your privacy, please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy. Third-party provider information: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

2.5 We also use the review services of TrustPilot, Trustpilot A/S, Pilestraede 58, 1112 Copenhagen, Denmark („Trustpilot“) to receive feedback about us as a seller. This allows us to improve our services and adapt them to our customers’ wishes. The legal basis is our legitimate interests.

For the purpose of sending you this review request, we share the following information with TrustPilot: email address, name, and a reference number to identify your review and generate the review invitation link.

A user profile with TrustPilot is required in order to leave a review. By clicking the review invitation link, your name and email address are automatically used to pre-populate a profile for you; TrustPilot then sends you a welcome email with this profile information.

4. Processing of Data for Web Analytics

4.1 Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC (“Google”). Google uses cookies (see Section 1.2), which enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about usage is usually transferred to a Google server and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on our website, where applicable, your IP address will first be shortened by Google. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website and internet use.

The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics will not be combined with other data held by Google.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website. You can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (including your IP address) from being recorded and processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/. This website uses Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension. Consequently, IP addresses are further processed in shortened form, so that any personal association with the data subject can be ruled out. As far as the data collected about you relates to you personally, that association is therefore ruled out immediately and the personal data thus erased without delay.

We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics this yields allow us to improve our website and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal bases for our use of Google Analytics are your consent and our legitimate interests.

Third-party provider information: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. See also the terms of use and privacy overview for Google Analytics as well as Google’s privacy policy

4.2 Hotjar

Our website also uses the web analytics service Hotjar from Hotjar Ltd. This service allows us to track movements on our website (so-called heat maps). These make it possible to see how much time you spend on which pages, how far you scroll, the movement of your mouse and how often you click on certain links and buttons. Your keystroke data, i.e. your entries in input fields, are not recorded. Hotjar uses cookies (see point 1.2) to collect this information about your behavior, as well as the following information about your device: IP address of the device (only collected and stored in an abbreviated, anonymized form), screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser used, geographic location (country only) and language preferred when viewing the online offer. Hotjar Ltd. stores the information on servers in Ireland for 365 days, after which the data is deleted. Neither Hotjar Ltd. nor we will merge or associate the information with any other data about you, and it will not be used to identify individual users. The data collected by Hotjar Ltd. is only used for our internal evaluation of the user behavior when interacting with our online offer. It is used to improve aspects of user-friendliness of our website. To the extent that you have given us your consent, the legal basis for processing is your consent, and otherwise the legal basis is our legitimate interests.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software; however, please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of our website. You can also prevent Hotjar from collecting data by clicking the following link and following the instructions there: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy/do-not-track/. This will place an opt-out cookie which prevents recording when you visit our website in future. Please note that if you delete all cookies on your device, this opt-out cookie will also be deleted; in this case, if you still wish to object then you must place the cookie again using the above button. The opt-out cookie is set per top-level domain, per browser and per device, and only prevents the recording of data for this website. How to prevent collection on other websites is explained on the respective site and here: https://www.hotjar.com/privacy/do-not-track/.

Third Party Information: Hotjar Ltd, Level 2, St Julian's Business Centre, 3, Elia Zammit Street, St Julian's STJ, Malta. For more information about Hotjar Ltd.'s privacy practices, please see their privacy policy: https://www.hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy.

5. Advertising & Marketing Activities by Raccsy

5.1 Newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter through the Raccsy website and provide your explicit consent, we will use your email address to send you regular updates on exclusive deals, new product launches, seasonal offers, and contests.

To manage the technical delivery of our newsletters, we partner with Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA).

When subscribing, we follow a double opt-in procedure: After submitting your subscription request, you will receive a confirmation email asking you to verify your signup. If you do not confirm, your data will be automatically deleted after 30 days. Once confirmed, your email will be stored solely for newsletter purposes until you choose to unsubscribe.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or by contacting us at Support@Raccsy.com. This does not affect the legality of the processing conducted before your withdrawal.

To measure the effectiveness of our email campaigns and improve their quality, we use Mailchimp’s tracking features. Emails may include tracking pixels or web beacons—tiny image files that allow statistical analysis (e.g., whether an email was opened, which links were clicked, and when). These data points are pseudonymized and stored on Mailchimp's servers for up to 13 months. No directly identifying personal information is attached to these metrics.

You can opt out of this tracking at any time using the unsubscribe link or by disabling image display in your email settings. Note that disabling images may affect how the newsletter appears and reduce available functionality.

Legal Basis: Your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR or equivalent) and our legitimate interests in improving our marketing.

5.2 Personalized Product Recommendations

As a valued Raccsy customer (i.e., after placing an order), we may use the email address provided during checkout to send you personalized product recommendations based on your previous purchases. These emails are tailored using your name and purchase history to deliver suggestions that are most relevant to your interests.

These communications are also managed through Mailchimp (see Section 5.1).

You receive these emails because you have not opted out of marketing communication at the time of your purchase. If you no longer wish to receive product recommendations or any promotional emails, you may opt out at any time by:

  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in any of our emails
  • Contacting us directly via Support@Raccsy.com
  • Updating your preferences in your user account settings (under Newsletter Subscriptions).

Like with our newsletter, product recommendation emails may include tracking pixels for performance analysis. These allow us to understand engagement levels (email open rates, click-throughs, etc.) in a pseudonymized format, without direct personal identification.

You can disable this tracking at any time as described above. If your email settings block image loading, these tracking pixels will not function, but certain features in the email may also be limited.

Legal Basis: Our legitimate interest in maintaining customer engagement and improving relevance of communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR or equivalent).

6. Usage-based Online Advertising Summary

7. What Are My Rights?

You have the right to control how your personal data is used.

If you’ve given us your consent to process your data, you can withdraw that consent at any time, with effect for the future. This won’t affect any processing we’ve done before your withdrawal.

In cases where we process your data based on our legitimate interests (rather than consent or a contract), you also have the right to object to that processing. If you choose to do so, we may ask you to briefly explain why you’re objecting, so we can assess the situation fairly. If your objection is valid, we will either stop or adjust how your data is being used — or explain the compelling legal grounds we may have to continue.

That said, you can object to the use of your data for advertising or analytics purposes at any time, without needing to provide a reason. To opt out, simply contact us at:

  • 📧 Support@Raccsy.com
  • 📞 (866) 410-9558

As noted in other sections of this policy, we sometimes work with trusted third-party service providers to help process your data. These partners are carefully vetted, follow our strict instructions, and are regularly reviewed for compliance.

We only keep your personal data for as long as it’s needed for its original purpose. Once that purpose no longer applies, your data will be deleted or blocked - unless we’re legally required to keep it longer. When those legal periods expire, we’ll also delete or block your data unless it’s still needed to fulfill a contract with you.

For special promotions or contests, we may need to process your data differently. If that’s the case, we’ll give you all the necessary information up front as part of the campaign.

8. With Whom We Share Your Information

At Raccsy, your privacy matters to us. We never sell your personal data, and we only share it in the ways outlined below - or when we’ve informed you and given you a chance to opt out.

8.1 Trusted Service Providers

We may share your personal information with carefully selected service providers who help us operate our business. These partners assist with things like:

  • Processing and shipping your orders
  • Handling secure payments
  • Customer service and support
  • Email marketing and promotions
  • Website functionality and analytics
  • Running contests, surveys, or giveaways They only get access to the data they need to do their job—and they’re not allowed to use it for anything else.

8.2 Business Partners

Sometimes, we team up with other brands to offer cool promotions, products, or services. If you take part in one of those offers, we may share your information (like your email) with our partner so they can fulfill the promotion. But don’t worry—we’ll always let you know when this happens.

8.3 Legal Reasons

We may share your data if required to do so by law. This includes:

  • Responding to court orders, legal requests, or government investigations
  • Protecting our rights, safety, or property (or yours)
  • Preventing fraud or other illegal activity

8.4 Preventing Fraud & Security Risks

If we believe it’s necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, or any kind of suspicious behavior, we may disclose certain information to law enforcement or other appropriate parties.

8.5 Business Transfers

If Raccsy ever goes through a major business change—like a merger, sale, or restructuring—your personal information might be part of that transfer. If that ever happens, we’ll make sure your data remains protected.

Heads up: Some of our partners and providers may have their own privacy policies, which govern how they handle the info we share with them. If you want to know more about their practices, we recommend checking out their individual websites. Their servers may be located in the U.S. or abroad.

9. Is My Information Secure?

We take your privacy and data security seriously at Raccsy.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect our website and any personal information you share with us from loss, tampering, unauthorized access, and other shady stuff. For example, whenever possible, we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connections - so things like your login info and order details are encrypted while being transmitted.

That said, no method of online data transfer is 100% foolproof. While we do our best to protect your information, we can’t guarantee absolute security. Using the internet always comes with some level of risk.

Your part matters too. We encourage you to:

  • Choose a strong, unique password
  • Keep your login details private
  • Log out of your account if you're on a shared device By using our site, you acknowledge these risks and agree to take reasonable steps to help keep your own information secure.

10. Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) Requests

At this time, our website does not respond to Do-Not-Track (DNT) signals from browsers.

Why? Because there’s currently no consistent industry standard on how to handle these signals. Until there’s a clear and widely adopted solution, we’re unable to support DNT requests.

We're always keeping an eye on privacy best practices, and if standards change, we'll revisit this approach.

11. California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”) – For California Residents

This section applies only to California residents who use our store or services.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), “Personal Information” refers to information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked—directly or indirectly—with a specific person or household.

  • Why we collect it: For business or commercial purposes like fulfilling orders, improving our store, and customer support.
  • Who we share it with: Trusted service providers or partners who help us run Raccsy smoothly.
  • If it’s sold: We do not sell your personal data for money. However, under CCPA definitions, some data sharing may be considered a "sale" (e.g., with advertising partners).

We’ll be including a detailed chart to clearly outline:

  • Categories of personal information collected
  • Sources of that information
  • Who we’ve shared it with
  • What it was used for If you're a California resident, you also have specific rights under the CCPA—including the right to request details about your personal data, or to ask us to delete it. More on that in the next section. ###11.2 Use of Personal Information | Category | We Collect | We Disclose | We Sell | Categories of Third Parties with Whom We Share Personal Information | |----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------|------------|-------------|---------|---------------------------------------------------------------------| | A.
